Welcome to week 26! Last week, Isthmus was featured as one of our Premoney companies. I met with one of the founders, Carley Lake, yesterday. She told me that “The entirety of Minnesota has looked at our pitch deck,” along with a couple other conversations, as a result of their Premoney listing. GREAT to hear results & indicators like that.

Founder: David Cutler

Founder Facts: David is a seasoned entrepreneur, designer & multi-time founder in the swim safety space. He’s the inventor of iSwimband® and has been featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, CBS’ This Morning Show, NPR, TODAY Show (product feature), and others.

Stage: Closing a pre-seed $760k. Preparing for $2-3M Seed Round to fuel growth.

1-liner: Reliable, user-friendly, and affordable drowning detection systems for the commercial and residential markets.

Description: Drowning remains a leading cause of accidental death with 88% occurring with supervision present, and 25% with lifeguards present.

Our WAVE systems are highly reliable, portable, and available at affordable price points. They require no installation, are simple to use, and work across all aquatic environments (pools, lakes, oceans, etc.).

There are 300k commercial pools and 12M residential pools in the US alone (addressable market value: $3B) and we're working with international resellers in UK, AU, Dubai and China, all of which reached out to us.

Our first customers love WAVE, and we have a dedicated team of seasoned entrepreneurs, engineers, and aquatic safety experts.

• Proven tech tested with 1000s of swimmers at 100s of pools

• First customer (enterprise: city school system) purchased a second system
